Save it for interviews (or secondary prompts, if you want to discuss your writing as an important part of your life, or as something that makes you different from the average applicant)..

You could choose to include this as a hobby or advocation (writing poetry) and then mention in the description that you've been published in literary magazines. This is a different ballpark than publishing research findings but it might be worth mentioning as part of what you do for fun and what makes you different than most applicants (in a world of cookie cutter applicants, you can be the cookie with frosting and sprinkles).
