If I was accepted by both, which one should I attend based on the latest academic rankings/prestige, regardless of tuition or geography?

why prestige? I don't think it matters much after you graduate, I'd say go where you would be happiest. I personally would say Nova!😉
Mercer is more prestige, but Nova is the best school in term of lifestyle, and cheaper tuition.

I see a lot of Nova fans on these here 'nets. But then why are there all these horror stories circling around about Nova and its staff/faculty's lack of competence? Also, which school has a higher passing rate on their graduating classes' certification exam? I was told that's another important factor to consider when choosing programs.
I believe the "horror stories" mostly arise from their dental program, but I could be wrong. I have heard mostly positive things about their pharmacy program.
nope, I know a P4 at nova and he said the school really went downhill after his P2 year when most of the best faculty started to leave. The school was actually on probation due to its high student:teacher ratio.
Mercer has a touch program. If you don't want to have a life, go. Nova is easier, and you still have time to party if you want to. I said Nova is easier do not mean Nova is easy. Both programs are touch. However, we have one friend just transfer from Mercer to Nova this year, and he said they have a very touch program.
What the he** is a "touch" program?????
I didn't read the first post apparently. If I was accepted by both, which one should I attend based on the latest academic rankings/prestige, regardless of tuition or geography?
I guess she wants to say "tough."

I've actually discovered this to be quite the opposite (for myself and the upperclassmen). Maybe that student had a hard time adjusting to the block scheduling, but I actually prefer focusing on less classes at once but moving at a faster pace.

Tinkerbell, why did you end up choosing Mercer over UGA? I assume you, too, applied to both schools? Or, if you didn't, what could be some objective reasons to choose Mercer over UGA?
And lastly, do you ever get to take classes with any of the medical school faculties while you are at the Pharmacy campus, or do they hang out mostly over there in Macon?
Thanks to all who answered (including even you, Burque Baby).
First year at Mercer wasn't bad at all...your friend is wrong.
I have no experience with Mercer, but I didn't care for Nova at all. Just one guy's opinion. I will also second the comment about south Florida; overpriced and, professionally speaking, yukky.
Thank you! No one who is actually from Florida likes south Florida... only tourists who don't have to live there. lol
