Meredith College Pre Health Post Bacc- Any other applicants on here?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yes I received that awhile ago since I got accepted earlier. When I get off work, I’ll see if I have the paper they mailed me referring how to set all of that up!

I got all my information (student Id, email etc..) and financial aid set up. I’m official babyyyy [emoji844]

I have one last question. Do we pick up our cam cards groom campus security or.....??

Yes I think.. or it’s either their police building. I couldn’t figure where it was so I still haven’t taken mine

Can you send me a picture of the book and access code for chemistry? I want to make sure I have the right one.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I was in the 2018-2019 cohort and we just had our ceremony yesterday! Meredith's post-bacc program is amazing and I only have great things to say. From what I've heard, ya'll are the largest group to get accepted since MC has been added to the national Post-Bacc application. However, they still have a less than 30% acceptance rate so it's still pretty competitive. Make sure you are on your A-game from day 1 because this program is pretty rigorous, and it goes by VERY quickly (time flies when you're studying all day lol).

The craziest period for me was Summer II when I had Gen Chem II and Cell Bio......oh. my. god. You all will LOVE the Cell Bio professor Dr. Aghoram (he's the interim director at the moment) but his class will kick your butt (not so much the material, but the AMOUNT you have to learn in 3-weeks). You will learn a lot though!

This was so reassuring! Thank you so much and good luck with your future endeavors!❤️

I just received my acceptance today as well and will begin in Fall 2019! What are other people planning on doing for housing and/or is there any sort of Facebook page for the 2019-2020 cohort? Congratulations to everyone!
I am 70/30 going to be starting this program in the fall! I am from out of state and have no idea what to do for housing and stuff! Is there a facebook group??

I don't think there's a FB group yet but I just found rommates/housing on NC State Housing Facebook Page since it's so close. I also reached out to some people who just finished the program and they were really helpful with recommending apartments! I was in the same position (starting in the fall, moving from out of state) but housing was actually pretty easy to find!

Yeah I think just undergrad is all girls and then anything at the post-bac or graduate level is co-ed from what I understand!

Accepted and attending for the 2020-2021! Anyone else?

Would anyone currently in the Meredith post bacc program be willing to have a quick conversation? I had a few questions about it and would love to hear about someone's recent experiences in the program. Thanks!

I'm from the 2018-19 cohort, I'd love to help if I can!

Hi, I will be attending the program starting next week and was wondering if you knew if the program qualified for grants or only loans?
Thanks!

Hi, I'm thinking about applying for 2023/2024 so not for another year. I graduate in 2023 but my program does not end until the end of June. Has anyone started in the fall rather than summer? Just wondering what courses they recommend and how long it will take to complete. I plan to reach out to them directly but just curious if anyone here did this. thank you!
