I got an email from Epi. department and said the merit scholarship would be distributed shortly. Did anyone already get the scholarship? 🙂
BTW, the deadline of accepting the offer is March 1st, way too early!!

Hi. I sent in my application to UofM on 1/12/11.

I got accepted 1/24/11.

On 2/11/11 I was notified via email that I had been awarded a half-tuition merit scholarship.

Good luck to you, hope that info helps.

Thanks wayofthedragon.
I got my acceptance about a week ago. So hopefully I'll get the scholarship feedback shortly. BTW, do you all have the same deadline for accepting/rejecting the offfer? Mine is March 1. TOOOO early!

Actually my acceptance email does not specify a deadline for replying. Am I missing something?

AG816,
I entered the friend account(or something like that, the web site you can check your application status). After hitting the RESPOND button, you will see the deadline. Dont worry b/c it's not a real link for making the commitment. You can still exit the page if you are not ready to accept the offer.
Hope this will help you. 🙂

I got the "the scholarship will be distributed shortly" email on Feb.11th, and I still haven't got the notification...Maybe I'm out...

I got that email on 10th, so we are in same boat. Funding is a big thing for me now to make the decision. :scared:

I finallyyy heard from Michigan that I was accepted to their enviro epid program, so hooray for that! There was no mention of finances though, just GIVE US $200 BY APRIL 15TH, OR ELSE. I need to know a bit more so I can weigh the pros and cons of Michigan vs. Columbia. Is there no hope for a merit scholarship or tuition assistance at this point?
