Hey guys,
So I'm a sophomore in college right now and I have around a 3.7. My plan is to get it up to around a 3.8 by the time application season comes around. However I recently learned that every single CC class you've taken factors into your GPA. I took a dual credit class in high school and received a B plus in it, and I got EMT certified last summer and received a B in that as well (this one freaks me out a ton because the class itself is 9 credit hours). I now realize that my AAMCAS GPA will be a heck of a lot lower than I anticipated in the end because of these classes. Is there any chance that med schools will be slightly more understanding? This whole thing is competitive and hard and cold as hell so it just really scares me to know that even if I do pull my gpa up majorly itll just get knocked right down again because of these stupid cc classes. Really stressed rn tbh so i appreciate the advice that yall have to give.
