MFM fellowship application cycle 2014

Any advice for MFM application? What did programs look at the most? Research? Letters of ref? Extracurricular? CREOGS? Which programs focused the most on research and which on scores? Any advice for submitting application and interview process? Thanks!

I have received several invitations pretty soon after ERAS was due, but things have been slow this week and was wondering if anyone else is finding the same thing. If you've already completed your match, did you continue to get invitations in late June and July? How many interviews did you go on? How did you decide how many to go on? Scheduling fellowship interviews is so much more difficult than scheduling residency interviews when we had so much time off. That was such a luxury!

Mfm hopeful I am having the same experience. From what I have heard there is somewhat is a lull in the interview invitation cycle about now as programs prepare to send out aug interviews. It's not fun waiting. 🙂 good luck
