Does anyone have any experience, or know anyone that has had success getting the montgomery GI bill during residency after a GMO tour (after separating from the military). It seems that it's possible, but my real big question is does the residency need to be university affiliated? Will the VA still recognize it if it's a smaller community program unattached?
