Hi there--
I'm not sure if this has already been discussed here (and if it has, please link me to the appropriate thread!) but I was curious if any of you know how an MHS degree compares to an MPH with respect to the job market. I plan on pursuing a career in public health in the future (as of right now, I'm thinking about work in the non-profit sector, but I'm sure that will change as I get out of college and experience more in the world of PH) and have been accepted to the MHS program at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as well as the MPH program at Boston University School of Public Health, both in the field of maternal and child health. I'm really pumped about the prospect of living in Boston for two years, but I know Hopkins is the cream of the crop. Would I be crazy to turn down Hopkins in favor of BU? How do the degrees match up? Would a MPH from BU would expose me to equal (if not more) opportunities than an MHS from Hopkins?
Sorry for all the questions, but thanks in advance for your help!
