I am an undergraduate freshman interested in getting into MI CO. I saw on their website that they have a 3+4 optometry program. I hope my GPA is going to be around 3.7 by the time I finish undergrad. I’m currently volunteering in a hospital and will be volunteering here for the next four years. I also volunteer in an adult care facility 7 hours a week. I will shadow and ophthalmologist this summer break, have two internships before my junior year, and will hopefully perform well on the OAT. Do you think I have a good chance of getting accepted to the program?

I think what you have planned for volunteer hours sounds good. Try hard to keep your GPA up and score high on the OAT. You can always contact Dr. Miller or someone in admissions for advice too :)
