Michigan Med: USMLE step 2 after 3rd yr?

In their nice brochure, it states that their students take USMLE Step2 after their 3rd year. Is this a typo or true? Are there other schools other than Michigan that does this? I'm curious if this is a common practice or something unique to Michigan.

after reading my own post, I think I can make it a lil' more clearer! I meant to say that michigan med students take usmle step 2 right after yr 3.
