Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything from MSUCOM in the past few weeks. I have been complete for about 3 weeks and I am anxiously waiting. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you, complete as of 11/21 and no reply as of yet

(thats total bs btw, it took them 2 weeks to match my LOR with my file when it was mailed from a prof at MSU !!! ... delayed me by 2 weeks 🙁 )

Is MSUCOM your top choice, and what other school are you applying to? I spoke to someone in the office and she said that they met yesterday (ad com). I don't know whats going on. T. Cox also said that my app would likely be reviewed this week. I have seen on this site some of the stats that people accepted have, and mine are comparable or better. I don't know whats going on. Good luck though.

yeah, i've seen a whole range of gpa and mcat scores.

it makes me wonder sometimes if they really read the applications. they may just toss applications from one side of the room to another to see which of them goes the farthest.

but i 😍 msucom.

I put this in another post somewhere, but I cant find it so here it goes....

MSUCOM takes all the applications they get and they score them with a scoring system of 60% academic 40% non academic... the top 20% of the applications at the time are taken to the meeting most Wednesdays when the adcom meets. These are then decided accept without interview, interview, waitlist, deny. So really when you go to adcom really depends on how you fall within the applications at the time... Some people may becomplete like a week and get reviewed (our 4.0ers) and some may stay in the pile for months till they get to the top 20% of the current apps.

Just wondering .. what are you stats, and how are you getting through to T. Cox ... the secretaries hassle me so much, asking me what I want to ask her, its like IF I WANTED TO CALL AND TALK TO U I WOULD ASK FOR YOU DAMMIT !!!
