According to Michigan's website, the total tuition (minus living expenses) is around 77k for D1. However, this is for three semester (Summer, Fall, and Winter). Is this right? If it is, most private schools would be cheaper than Michigan (for an OOS resident).

yup. state schools are really only cheaper if you live in the state.

You are looking at internationally trained dentsit program tuition (ITDP in the link)

Lol I was gonna say, did they change it in the last day or so? Michigan tuition isn't that bad for oos'ers, cheaper then my Louisville alternative.

not true at all, Many Many state schools are less expensive being Out of State than Private schools.

Keep in mind that the class of 2014 is starting in July. That will be an extra 5-7k in tuition plus fees and living expenses. Also, no chance of becoming a MI resident, ever. I believe you can at Louisville, might not be easy though.
