What is your pick on these two texts and why?

I haven't read the Lipincott micro but I loved the Micro Made Ridiculously Simple. It is a breeze to read, and all the little cartoons and mnemonics they have make it very easy to remember the key facts. That book was my main source for board studying and there weren't too many questions for micro that made me feel like 😕 . I enjoyed MMRS a lot.

Lippincott is very good and is an easy read. It doesn't have the cartoons and mnemonics, but it is still a very worthwhile book.

so which one of the two would you choose if you only had enough time to study one of the two?

i don't think one is better than the other...i used both. i think i remembered more from micro made rid simple. on the usmle, i think micro was relatively easy, so either will do.

just browse thru them, see which style you prefer. it will be a judgement call on your part.
