Suggestions for books and other study aids for Micro? I am dreading this course, since it seems like just a lot of rote memorizing--and way more detail than we will need to know to practice. Any ideas for ways to make it less painful?
Thanks--

Try the book "Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple"

I agree with abby. We are given tables at the begining of the year that second year students rated the books they bought and which were most helpful. Micro Made Ridiculously Simple was the top book followed by a board review book. The book is also pretty thick compared to the other Ridiculously Simple books.
I just started Micro, and this is the only book that I bought for the course!

Hope this helps,
~Pegasus~
