cdhoward, how many schools did you apply?

Ten so far. I have the eleventh ready to send off. I've just been delaying it since they do not have rolling admissions and they are my last choice because of the length of their program - UMKC.

The Matriculation/Payment change from saying that this section is available to accepted students to saying we were unable to find your information.

Also the addition of contact info for the office of admissions.

I'm pretty sure we were told that the adcoms were going to review everyone exactly two weeks from the date of the interview. They are probably going to meet up tomorrow, and judging by the way they handled the October interviews, they are going to let us know their decision late next week.

What does yours say that makes you think that something is slightly off?

I doubt they are metting today, the day before Thanksgiving! Who knows. I just want to find out already!!!

When I think about it, if I have to make a decision between UMKC and UH-Hilo, I'd rather attend UMKC. Ah, I just hope I get pulled off from the waitlist for Midwestern, so I won't have to make these kinds of tough decisions (if I get accepted to any of the schools of course)!!

I know it's been a while since I submitted mine (back in August I think), but I think it took at least about a month for them to invite me for an interview.

i received an interview offer a couple days after i submitted my apps.

Based on the reception from those who interviewed last October, I can only assume that the people who interviewed on the 12th hear back this week. I am SO nervous as Midwestern is my top choice. Is it me, or does the waiting really SUCK? Personally, I keep thinking I should have said this or said something differently even though I felt really good leaving the interview. I hate over analyzing even though two p1 students (one of them a good friend of mine) at the school tell me I have a good chance at getting in. I feel like my 70 composite PCAT score is going to shove me down the waitlist. 🙁 I'm already thinking of how i'm going to approach this letter of intent. lol.

Good luck to everyone! I have exams this week and i'm planning on going to Chicago again on the weekend. lol.

P.S. I did confirm with a friend who is a p1 that the interviews aren't even part of the AdCom!

I'm pretty sure that the interviews are a part of the package...why else would they have people fly from all parts of the country?

Waiting definitely is the hardest part...it does get easier after a while though

I think Midwestern likes to invite people and waitlist them quick. I realized that only a few people in SDN got in so far. Statisticaly, half of the people in Sdn got in last year at this point.

Sorry! I should have been more clear with my wording. What I meant is, that the two interviewers will write everything that might be of importance, also given your maneurisms, body language, etc, etc. Then, give the adcoms the evaulation papers they had written, and add some insight so they (the adcoms) can give the final OK.

At least that's what she told me.

I remember what they said "if you are put in alternative list, we only review your application again a week before the class start".

There are a few exceptions who got pulled out earlier. But I do not think they will do that to majority of waitlisted students.

I heard from the past posts (from a current P1 student at CCP) that a lot of people got pulled out from January to April of last year. I think I also heard that one person got pulled out in December. But then again, this year can be different because each year has different applicant pool and I guess it also depends on the number of applicants who decline their acceptances.

Nothing has changed under what it says under "Matriculation Agreement". I guess I either got rejected or put on the waitlist. I just felt good after the interview... which doesn't make sense. I guess it was my PCAT score. 🙁

I called admissions and the woman on the phone had no information as to when they mailed the results of our interviews. Does anyone in California know when they got theirs the week of the call back? I wish they had my address in Michigan (as I go to school here), so I can get it as soon as possible! 🙁🙁

I think they've been checking their online Midwestern accounts under the Accepted Students section (something like that... I haven't looked at that site in like a month).

It's very weird..I think the website posted it around 12AM chicago time yesterday. Cause I checked it in the afternoon and there was nothing but I checked around 11 and it was posted. Maybe they did it last week and it just took a while for the update to show online?

Not necessarily. It has been reported from current students that your online account will only change if you have been accepted. If you have been rejected or placed on the alternate list, you will still see that message (which used to have a different statement).

If you do not hear anything while others receive acceptance letters, more likely you have been waitlisted. Do not worry they will send a waitlist letter to you a few days later.

ever hear of anyone getting rejected after the interview?? I'm just trying to prepare for the worst. what a bummer...I was really hoping not to have to book my airfare for this interview I got in virginia. Virginia is just so far away.

There were about 30-33 people there that afternoon. SDN hold such a small percentage of the applicant pool and with three users with acceptances, i'm not surprised if this is it for our interview group date. I'm really disappointed as I felt pretty good after my interview... I guess they were thinking otherwise. I'm also from California, but I go to school in the Midwest.
