What I’m wondering is what the minimum hours you have spent doing an activity or volunteering at a specific organization, to include it on AMCAS applications?

Like for example I am part of a club in which we really only meet it for one hour every other week during the school year. So I’ve been in it for a year, but that only comes to about 30 hours total. Can / should I still include it?

Another example is I volunteered at an organization for 50 hours during the spring of my freshman year. I no longer volunteer there. Can / should I still include this?

Both hourly totals are fine for inclusion.

What does involvement with the club say about you? Does it reveal a facet of your personality that makes you a stronger candidate? Is the focus of the club make you seem "interesting?" Did you have a leadership role or did it give you a volunteer opportunity? In other words, make sure it's worth including.
