I am going to apply to minnesota dental Board licensing exam, But before applying they require Effictive Infection Control Course(8 hours). ADA offers this course and one can do this course at home.Its cost is $187. If more than one dentist do this course together then charge will be less. pevious experiance of 18 months with in 2 years, & all tax papers regarding that.
Infection controle examination -8 credit hrs
upto this is only first step

If we together do this course then fees will be like this: 187.50 + 37.50(for extra copy for exam paper--which we have to send to ADA then they will send us certificate. Obviously then we can divide the fees between us. so finally we pay 112.5 dollar.
And we give ADA member number then 125+37.5 divided by 2.
so this saves money of both of us.
if you interested please send me e-mail as soon as possible because i am planning to order it as soon as possiblle.

hi my frd graduated abt 4 yrs back and shes had some personal reason for not applying to schools.Now she has gone to indiafor 3 months to get some practice on patients.Can she get a document frm the dentist that shes been practicing for 3 months will that help her to apply for the minesota licensure?

Hi guys...
I have the same problem with the course syllabus...My school does not have it in English...
my question is why does ICA need syllabus??? Why didn't ECE need one when they did a course by course evaluation for me???
Wait ..the thing is I asked ECE today why ...they said because they have libraries and staff that finds out stuff like that for them...I wonder why can ICA not do that...isn't this what they are supposed to do?
I mean they are not like deciding whether you are a dentist in this or that country or not. I mean a general ECE evaluation would tell you that...
or a notarized copy of your degree in English...right????

hi i think ICA evaluation is very tough..but i got it done a week ago after a long waiting..but ica really wants a big list of things from our university..and my parents provided all stuff for them ...and it was so painful for my parents also to go our college and make them understand and then mail(by college dean)and what not but ica people dont consider these things ..so if u want ica evaluation u have to prvide all they want..good luck

All in all how long did it took them to finish the evaluation?

I have applied in mid november and all has been ok at the first time. ICA has confirmed it. But at this time , I get nothing. I tried to call them about sixty times and get them two times. Very frustrating.
Prettypink you are a lucky man. I will try to paint me in pink but I am not sure it will be a success 😳

that's something I tried to consider, but I don't have a chance, as I have been in the states for about 2 years now without practicing dentistry, only teaching, this condition really sucks.... why do they want 18 months of experience in the past 2 years ....they can do a practical test like everybody else 😕

hi ethann ..i hope u'll get it soon ...they evaluated everything and gave the result -gpa3.27..and they did give me a long summary of all subjets and how it equivalent to US subjects..it was some 3 pages ..good luck for u

I got an email from Minnesota Dental Board that I have a missing document, the icaworld subject report. Although I submitted a notarized photocopy of the ECE general report as an extra reference for them.
I wrote to them that icaworld asked for additional documents. And I have complied with the additional documents as well as my dental school.
At least I got an acknowledgement that all my documents were received completely except for the icaworld subject report.
Prettypink - Did the Minnesota Dental Board replied yet?
Prin - Hope that icaworld would finally give you your report.

From what I heard that getting MN dentist license for Non-Accredited Dental Graduates is very hard and time consuming. If you do get license than you still have to work under supervision under 3 yrs and can only work in MN. Have you tried to apply for dentist school?. Are you from MN?.
