Hello everybody,


I have a question for those who have gone through the Minnesota dental licensure and made it.

How long did it take since you applied (I mean you started to collect and send the needed documents) until the day that you found out that you are issued a license?

I would like to know the length of that period to think about what we can do while waiting for the licensure, although I know it's not guaranteed that someone, just because S/he applied, will be licensed after that period.

[look on old thread ,,,,,,,,,apparently it is very difficult to obtain the ICA evaluation (450$ and around 6-8months )
I asked If they accept other evaluation and the answer was simple and short : No ,only ICA .

BTW, could anybody share some information about the costs of the advance standing program at the university of Minnesota (UMN PASS)?

I couldn't find any info on that in their website.

So, That means the special procedure in MNN is almost impossible????

Someone told me the IED procedure was already closed.
But the Board website still post the information.

I searched for it before posting, I'm sure what I'm doing, since the financial information was not posted on the university's web site, I thought there might be someone who knows something.

Search function does not help always! All I get is info about the tuition fee of the regular program, which I think there is no need to ask it here because it can be found on their web site 🙂D) and NOT the advance education program for foreign-trained dentists.

Well, of course the search function work well if you search precisely D’oh…by search, I meant the search tab on this forum, not on the webpage of the school. Here you have students who have been accepted to UMN and they are/were discussing @ the fees and the comparison with other schools fee structure. Just go through the previous posts and check all the discussions in the UMN threads

Well, I was just suggesting that if you search, you might also get to know the id’s of the students who are accepted and you may contact them personally
