Missed CS exam

So I know I am the biggest idiot in the world, but I was hoping for some advice. I thought my CS examination was today, on Thursday, but it was actually yesterday. Now I have to repay the 1275 (ouch) but the main problem is that there are no spots open until January. Will this make me ineligible for matching? I was going to send in my application today, but now I don't even know if there is a point to sending it.

Almost everyone just assumes you will pass CS (the pass rate is absurdly high) so it's not a huge deal if you haven't taken it yet - you MUST have a pass before the actual match, though.

CS means next to nothing across the board 1 it's just a check box. A failure, however, is a major red flag so take it seriously.

From your post history, it appears you're a USMG at one of the UT schools. If so, then it's no big deal. For any IMG, this would be catastrophic as CS results won't come out until just before, or perhaps after, the match.

Sucks a big one about the $$.

Probably no big deal, but kind of a pain to deal with in the spring. Set up your browser to periodically refresh the page and alarm if there's differences (I used the "check for change" extension on firefox back in the day if I remember right). You'll usually be able to snag an earlier date that someone cancelled.
