Missed OTS Registration Deadline?

I'm an M1 in Air Force HPSP, and I've been having a little bit of trouble working with my school on the best time to do OTS. I know most people usually do it in the summer between first and second year, but my curriculum has that time set aside for research for our capstone project, so I was going to take Step 1 early and do OTS in the summer between second and third year instead. A few days ago, though, I finally heard back from one of the deans, and they said I most likely wouldn't be allowed to do that, so now I'm back to square one.

Have I already missed the deadline for OTS? They sent out the email with the dates for 2026 3 weeks ago, and it says time sensitive. I can still open the form, though, so does that mean I can still register?

For Army we had to sign up by I believe mid-Jan, same with Navy classmates. I imagine AF is similar.

You can also do it 4th year, my school actually would give me elective credit for it. See if yours has something similar.

Sounds like you have to send an email back and ask them directly to get the official answer. Like he mentioned above, the Army can postpone depending on curriculum.
