I was talking with my letter writer yesterday and was informed that they recommended me for a graduate program as opposed to medical school specifically. My writer has declined to make edits as they don't feel comfortable resubmitting. Would this be an issue? I would really appreciate it if some adcoms could weigh in! Thanks.

This happens more often than you think; seeing a LOR recommending one for a grad program than the med school.

Would this lessen the weight of the letter? I was counting on this to be a strong letter as I had volunteered with the organization for many years, but my writer believed med school to be a type of grad school so they wrote graduate program in the letter.
Thank you for your help!

Not really in my book.
