I’m working on my secondaries and just realized I made a mistake on one of my AMCAS entries. I listed the dates for a research activity as 03/2023–12/2023, but it should have been 03/2022–12/2022. The total hours are accurate, and the description is correct I just accidentally put the wrong year. The only way adcoms could know this is incorrect is if they reach out to the contact person and if the contact person notices the error since its been a few years. This is one of my most meaningful activities.

I’m worried this could look deceptive, especially since I mention working in this lab during my freshman year (2022) in a two secondaries. Would adcoms view this as a red flag? Should I clarify the correct dates in secondaries if there's an open ended “additional info” section, or just leave it alone and address it only if asked later?
