Hello all! first off I hope your semesters/app cycles are going well, and congrats to everyone having success this cycle so far!
For some background, I am an Afro-Caribbean/Puerto Rican male who started off college extremely poorly and I now have a steep upward trend. I will be graduating in May with a 3.3 cGPA and a 3.1 sGPA after turning my academic life around. I also have pretty good ECs, including a few directly helping the underserved community, as well as very strong clinical experience and decently strong clinical research.
As Ive heard multiple differing opinions, my question is simple, what kind of MCAT do I need to get into an MD school? is it even possible? I've heard ranges from 28-35, and I just want to know if I'm wasting my time and money and even applying MD at all. ill be doing DO as well as I don't care at the end, would just prefer MD to make life a bit easier.
To any with insight, thank you for your time!
