Is it reasonable to work as a GP, say on Saturdays, during ortho residency? I feel that I need to make some extra cash as I will be in an expensive school in an expensive city. Should you feel out the program first, or should I just go for it?

Many residencies have policies on moonlighting. Some have no problem at all; some prohibit it.

If you keep quiet about it, you might be able to get away with it

Where would I find out the program's policy on this?
