Hello everyone. I am in the process of choosing the concentration of my biology major. Which of the following upper div. bio classes and labs are the most helpful in dental school? I can't fit in all of the classes, so I am trying to see which ones are more useful.

Biochemistry
Genetics
Cell Biology
Microbiology
Human Physiology
Human Anatomy
Neurobiology
Virology

Biochemistry lab
Microbiology lab
Human Physiology Lab
Human Anatomy Lab
Exercise Biology Lab

lol pretty much all of them but i would say human anatomy, biochemistry, and neurobio. but i mean..really, i think they are all relevant and important...

Considering the opinions of several dental students, I would add histology to the most important list.

I'd say they are all important. I'd take them all if I could. I'd recommend taking human anatomy w/lab, physiology w/lab, and biochemistry.

For those of you that have taken human anatomy and human physiology, which course should I take first that would help me the most?

is pharmacology also a useful course to take? i'm taking that this semester with the hopes that it will introduce me to a course that i will face in d-school. either way, it's really interesting (but hard!) and i'm glad i'm taking it.

Micro (i.e., the two diseases dentists spend 95% of their careers on are both bacterial), physiology, anatomy, and pharm.

I took Physiology first and did very good in it.

This semester i'm auditing Anatomy, just for kicks, coz i have some tough engineering courses this semester.
