I have picked out the 3 most meaningful experiences to talk about in my application. However, I would also like to talk about 2 of these experiences in my personal statement since they had such as significant impact on my decision to go to medical school (and one of them makes me look pretty unique.) I want to avoid being redundant though, as I'm sure redundancy will bore the people reading my application. Any ideas on how I should avoid being redundant? Should I focus more on stories from these activities on my personal statement?

Just highlight different things in the two sections. Describe the overall experience in the activities section and discuss particular anecdotes from them in the PS. Or describe what you actually did in the activities section and describe how it affected you in the PS.
