I know the interview will come as an e-mail, but will the rejection??? if anyone has any info., please inform me!!!

thanks a lot 🙂

Hi there. Rejections usually do not come as emails at any schools. The best way to check is just to call up and say that you're inquiring about the status of your application.

While I have no specific information about Mount Sinai, I doubt that any school would do anything so tacky as sending a rejection by email!! All of my rejections have been through snail mail (well, except the one I found out about on the phone because I called the JHU admissions office so much about trying to coordinate interviews). Interview invites have come by email, snail mail and three times by phone (in which cases they also later sent the email or paper letter).

Actually, UC-Davis sent its rejections through email...

And Dartmouth sent them 2 - 3 days before Christmas...

Nice of them, huh?

Virginia Commonwealth sends out their pre-secondary rejections by e-mail. I even got mine on September 11. The odd thing is that they did not have my MCAT scores and my GPA is more than adequate. I guess an e-mail rejection is not as tacky as the one someone got about 4 or 5 years ago from a certain midwestern school. The sent out a POSTCARD that said he had been rejected because his grades and his MCAT were not good enough for their program <img border="0" alt="[Wowie]" title="" src="graemlins/wowie.gif" /> ! Talk about TACKY!
