Ok, so I just realized something really weird. I put MSSM on my AMCAS application (which was processed in June) and I never received ANYTHING from them in the way of a secondary application. How did they send out their secondary info: snailmail or email? Should I just call the admissions office and ask what went wrong? Also, what's the secondary like. Is it hard? Am I completing it too late that I'll be seriously disadvantaged since I don't even HAVE it yet?

It's no surprise that you have never received anything from them. I never heard anything from them either, but I completed their online secondary anyway. They haven't been known to be on top of things technologically this application cycle. They don't screen, and supposedly the invitation was via email (though many people did not receive it).

You can go ahead and complete the secondary here:
http://fusion.mssm.edu/admissions/submit/

I recommend avoiding Internet Explorer to complete the secondary. Mozilla Firefox worked fine for every SDNer who used it (IE just caused problems for many). You can find Mozilla Firefox at http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ .

Good luck. The essays are short (but a breeze).

They sent out secondary via email. However, some people did not get the secondary due to some email problem (I didn't get any email from them, but sent in my secondary anyway)

Here is the link to the secondary: http://fusion.mssm.edu/admissions/submit/

The secondary is not bad at all. It was one of the last secs I received via email.

I called and they said they haven't received ANY of my letters of rec...which is weird cause I sent them three....

do you think its one huge mix up or another example of their slowness...

You designated MSSM on your application in June? Or did you just add it recently?
I ask because MSSM is not listed in your MD app profile.

Don't sweat the secondary. They were pretty unorganised with sending out the invites.
Follow the link in the above posts and complete it.

Apparently a lot of people had their secondary app sent to their Junk Mail folder. I think they re-sent it, but it's possible that got marked as spam as well. It's hard to check your app status there, because you can only call at designated times during the week. If you're busy during those times, then you are stuck.

Yeah, it's not on my MD apps profile because I forgot about it. Like, completely forgot. Then yesterday when I went over my "to do" list, I was like, "wait ... I applied there." I know that's bad ... 🙄
