I will say that the lack of PRs really gives the game a different feel. No wondering "is this person's strong gut feeling actually due to hidden information," just pure vibes and vote analysis.

I don't dislike it 🤔

Definitely a different flavor. I feel like "mafia purists" prefer this style.

I prefer role madness/bastard games

I don't know, Dubz, I've played with you wolfing a grand total of 1.5 times and the 1 of the 1.5, I died D1 and was a brand new noob.

Does it fit your powerwolfing meta? No. Do I think you're wolfing here? I've leaned away from the idea as the day has gone on.

Dubz reads as busy. I dont' think she power-wolfed last game either.

Activity is NAI

@WildZoo how do you feel about Vis' more recent posts?
I'm still thinking about them. There's been a lot of wolf ATE lately (not throwing stones, just saying it has occurred) and I have a hard time telling it apart from the village variety.

I'm also in this thing where even if I want to move, which I kind of do, I don't know where I would move to.

I'm in this too except I need to vote and I just feel frozen.
I think it's a testament to the wolves this game that I don't think there's anyone I would be happy to vote for right now.

Barks is my best guess but I feel like there's a chance I'm misreading her the same way I did in StardeWW.

I keep thinking about going back there, but the main thing that's triggering me about Barks in this game was that I didn't like the reasoning behind her first vote (which has clued me in to her wolfing before), and I wasn't enamored with her reads list.

But, at the same time, then I ask myself how it would benefit a wolf to post a reads list that was that different from the group consensus, and I just don't know a) that I see it having a lot of reward for the risk it carries with the attention it would draw, and b) I don't think I recall Barks doing that in the past when she's wolfed.

I'm really amused that even in an open setup, where the first post specifies not only roles but that the game is mountainous, and the game is called Mountains, that there's still this question of whether it's mountainous.

It's making me feel better about how much I slammed my head into the wall while modding Madagascar

Mountains are truly majestic

I was waiting for this as well, especially since I voted for her yesterday. Is it weird that no one decided to push that?
I don’t think so, I feel like if anything it just says the wolves are decently experienced enough to know not to be obvious
No pls, vote now pls
Okay ( I don’t even know how to spell your whole username lol).

Vote Z

Literally no one said that, so I don't really understand your attitude here tbh.

The rule was not met in 26.1% of games last year. Do with that what you will. You can make an argument that it drops to 21.7% if you want to count any exclusive scum as opposed to just strictly wolf. If you want to use it for wolf hunting, that's on you.

Why do you know these stats??

Because I’m just all over the place with some people, I feel like PSV and speechy feel pretty village to me, I don’t know if I should vote sunny bc I’m not remembering reading much from them in my short read through. And z was someone I had some question marks from yesterday. I’ll go find some posts, I’m just on my phone and struggling and wanted to at least post a vote earlier.

Why does speechy feel pretty village?

Do you not think that Zenge's wolf meta would try to mirror his village meta?
I just don't think that's an aspect of his village meta that I've seen him successfully replicate.

Of course, it may now from this moment on be in his mind to do, but wolf!Zenge is a nervous nelly and I think a lot of the things he does as village would make him more nervous to do as a wolf.

And like I said to Vis before, his reaction to me spilling the beans felt genuine.

Does this mean that you don't think Zenges is as good of a wolf as villager? I'm just trying to follow the logic.

Genuine question. I tend to sign up for the games he mods because of guaranteed wacky mechanics and shenanigans, but it means we haven't played together in a while..

No I just think he plays differently. I don't think you have to imitate every part of your village play to be a good wolf.

Ketchup post!
You had true a bit higher though. Do you believe he is above killing Paws?
For the record, in previous wolf games I've never gone for a returner/noob/someone-who-just-modded in the first couple days, but it was out of politeness rather than being a hard rule.

If the smartest kill was someone who fell into one of those categories, I could see myself agreeing to do it.

I must say, all this tone talk. What a wild WWorld we are in….
This tone is pretty sus 🤔🤔🤔

I don’t know why I decided to play this game again when every game it’s just “Vis is making stupid bad arguments. Always happens but I think they’re stupider than usual so vote Vis anyways” or “Vis is making stupid bad arguments, but they’re not stupid enough for village Vis so vote Vis anyways”
I feel really guilty for saying this but this kind of caught me off guard, and actually makes me feel a little worse about Vis. This feels like it could possibly be a stressed-wolfy-overreaction to initial pushes.

I'm starting to have that paranoid feeling of "what if the wolves are just ... not posting" because I've been staring at the posts of my POE members long enough now that I have managed to talk myself both into and out of 2 of them.
Yeah, but also activity level is NAI.

Idk, I just feel a lot more stuck than I would have expected for it being D2. I feel pretty good about a couple of my village reads, and then pretty confused moving down the list. Guess I've gotten used to having the crutch of mechanics solving in other games.
Activity is NAI but it is definitely in the wolves interest to produce no new data or give any new leads if the village doesn't have a strong trail to follow.

If the wolves happen to be natural low-posters, and if we're not currently on to the real wolves, it seems like it behooves them to keep their claps shut and let us eat our own.
