I find hearing from past and present students to be the most helpful information. I would like to do that here. While so much of what the SDN forums offer has been invaluable, I think there is particular cache about learning more in-depth from the students who have been through the hustle and bustle of the MPH itself and indeed from those who are in the middle of it.
Tell us about your experience. What do you wish someone had told you - about the application process, about the program itself, about the financial and emotional costs, about anything and everything? What advise did you follow but later regretted? Are you happy with your program, with your career prospects, with your overall MPH experience? Is the program better than what you had hoped? Perhaps it is just so-so? Perhaps worse? What do you wish you had known that you would like to communicate to current or future MPH students?
These are just some questions and ideas to address. I realize that one particular challenge would be to ask and invite past and present students. My sense is that many who frequent the forums here are current or future applicants who later run off into the sunset. Regardless, I hope you return and contribute to this thread.
