my school offers MPH - Program for Experienced Professionals its basically the MPH degree for people who are either working or doing another degree full time and it takes 2 years to complete.
We don't specialize in this program. How good do you think this degree will be, taking into account that there's no specialization involved. I am planning on using it to manage a healthcare setting.
I am also doing Dentistry at the same time.

In my experience, the fact that it is not specialized will not affect your goals by a large margin, especially since you will also have the Dentist thing going on. Do you feel that it will be too much on your plate while you are a dental student, however?

yes I think I'll be busy but I think I will be able to manage both programs.

If you are pursuing a professional degree, I don't think the lack of MPH specialization will matter. I am in the process of a very similar situation. I started MPH classes while in my last year of a Doctor of Pharmacy program (both full-time). I will complete my MPH degree during my pharmacy residency this year. I picked electives that were relevant to my interests, but there is no specialization. It does require a lot of time management and organization skills to do both. If you're motivated, I'm sure you'll do fine.
