I was checking out the websites of the various universities and I found that a few universities put a lot more stress on internships than others. From whatever information I have gathered from the posts at this forum I have realised that internships form an important part of the course. I have found that University of Suny Albany is one such prominent school. Guys, any other school that offers such prominent internships?
Also how good is the University Of Suny Albany program because it doesnt rank in the usnews.com rankings?
Also wanted to know what sort of a role does internship play if you want to pursue residency after the MPH program?

Any accredited MPH program is going to require some hands-on experience. It might be called an internship, a praxis, field work, field experience, but it is going to be a substantial time commitment done over a period of weeks if not months.

Any hands-on experience done well is going to count in your favor as you pursue any future opportunities in public health and medicine.
