I was accepted to the MPH (Environmental Health) programs at Columbia and Yale and the SM program at Harvard. Does anyone know if it is more difficult to get a job with an MS degree than an MPH? I am not interested in going into research or academia and probably want to go into the private sector. Where would you go?

That is uncanny. I got accepted to all 3 programs in the Environmental Health department too. Also got full tuition and a stipend from NYU's Environmental Health Sciences MS program. I would like to know this as well, but will probably ask during their admitted students day.

Take the $$ at NYU, and Harvard prestige, assuming same cost.

Employers won't notice a difference between degrees.

AwkwardTurtles, are you just getting out of undergrad or have you been out for awhile?

Does anyone have any more thoughts? I have no idea how I am going to decide between Yale (mph), Columbia (mph) and Harvard (sm).

Obviously the MPH is superior...more letters. The goal is to make one's professional title as long as possible right?
