I'm not sure what a MBBS is, but I think it all depends on what type of coursework you have already had, and what you actually want to do when you are done. The salary really depends on what you do with your degree. All of these programs can be finished in 2 years, but it really depends on what classes you have already had (all have prerequisites, though the MPH probably has the least number). The PA and MSN programs require a lot of the same prerequisites for medical school - biology, chemistry, physics, etc.

In terms of expenses, PA programs will least likely provide funding. MPH programs often allow you to do some kind of research or teaching assistantship in exchange for tuition. There are also a lot of opportunities in nursing to take out a loan, and then if you work for a certain period of time at the hospital where you are studying after graduating, they will pay your loan back for you. This seems to be rarer in PA programs from what I have heard ( I would check with specific programs though).

Perhaps you could describe a little about your background and what you are interested in. These are three totally distinct fields so it is a bit hard to comment.

Thanks for the reply and good wish.
PA = Physician Assistant
MSN = Master of Science in Nursing

Thanks for taking the time to write a detailed post.
MBBS is Bachlors in Medicine and Surgery degree offered in India and some other countries. It requires 4 and half years of medical school study and one year of internship. It allows one to practice medicine like MD in US, however, its is not recognized in US unless someone passes USMLE exams. Even after passing USMLE exams, it is diffcult for Foreign Medical Graduates to get residency and especially in my case when I completed my studies about 8 years back. Difficulty in getting residency coupled with some family issues, I decided not to go for MD route.

Regarding what I would like to do at the end of completion - at some point I would still like to persue my dream of becomeing an MD. But for now, I would like to continue with health care related field. My purpose is to get a job at the end of it that is interesting, I have a role in patient's life - directly or indirectly - and allows me to get a job that do not have enogh US personnel available ( has shortage of skilled employees ). This could allow me to obtain work visa and during that time continue to work for obtaining a residency.

In my case I am practicing medicine in govenment hospital. I have studied chemistry, physics, bioglogy and all medicine related courses as well as had one year internship and eight years of professional patient care clinical experience.
Question regarding prerequisite is : Since the courses were completed about ten years back, would I still need to complete prerequisites ? If yes, that could add quite some time as I will have to start all over again.

Another factor would be, since I will be doing this on student visa, so I can not work more than 20 Hrs during study and after graduation would need work visa.

I hope the above information will enable you to help me with additional information.

Thanks again for your time and interest.
Regards.
