Just curious if IMG MSPE letters get released on November 1st even if they have been uploaded in September?

Yes. Many schools send letters sooner than Nov 1 but ERAS embargoes them until that date. IIRC, once your school/ECFMG has uploaded it, it will appear as available but not downloaded until Nov 1.

I think it is just done that way to make it easier on the dean's offices. Imagine if every student tried to get their letter done as late as possible to have grades, but as close as possible to september 1st to have it submitted the first day. It would be craziness in there.

I wasn't sure if the Nov 1st date was specific to AMG's or a general ERAS rule. Looks like it applies to everyone regardless of their Dean's office.

My motivation for asking was that mine will be available in a few weeks and figured it would help my application - but if everyone waits then that's cool too (and now I won't get my hopes up).
