MSU or Wayne

What do all you people out there think of Wayne State and Michigan State. What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks for your help.

Wayne State = great clinical, not-so-great environment (though Detroit's downtown is making a comeback)
MSU = liberaly, care-ish school, green campus.

Wayne has a better rep than MSU, neither are very well known out-of-state.

Detroit is making a major comeback, I would choose it over East Lansing in a second. Reputation-wise, Wayne State wins also. They have amazing hospitals to do clinical rotations in, Michigan State ships their students all over the state to do rotations...at least the DO school does, not sure about MD.

The only disadvantage I see going to Wayne is that I'm going to live about 20 miles out of town. If I were single, I would probably find a place downtown, but I would rather have my kids in the suburbs.
