Interview went pretty good!
Met few nice folks, visiting accepted-students, and MSUCOM students took us on a tour around the school. So, it does seem like I am the only interviewee so far. Everyone else that came today was accepted students.
Things of interest: Block curiculum(also, classes are combined wtih allo students), non-competitive academic environment(emphasized on team work aspect of academics), 27?? or 22?? hospitals for clinical programs (was told most people end up doing the residency through the same hospital. hence, easy transition), plus they have few hemotology-oncology residency available. Huge~ campus(most of the time is spent in one building, Fee Hall, I hear)
Emphasis on community service(they also look for people with good cs. record on app). Free Lunch and parking. GPS was life saver.
I heard app committee meets on tues. I'm expecting the news on wed~
oh, and watch out for MSU ducklings.
