I interviewed first round (9/11) and have yet to hear back. Anyone else in a similar position? Also a current student did tell me that they send out more acceptances later in the week, so for all of you who are in the same boat as myself, keep your head up!

Everything that was intended to be released on the 15th was sent out yesterday. Expect things to resume after the holidays in early January. Anyone is welcome to PM me with specific questions about their application. Congratulations to all that heard and to those who haven't, remember that there is still a long ways to go.

Be yourself, it’s very relaxed and conversational! Just know why you want to be a dentist and why MUSC. You got this!

Hi! I know sometimes there are current students on these threads. Does anyone know if it’s possible to visit MUSC and have a tour? Or even just walk around the campus and get a feel for the school

Not letting people tour right now. As someone who is very familiar with the facilities, I'll sum it up by saying the classrooms and labs are nothing special, but the clinics are really nice.

Interesting to me that you'd make those comments about our facilities as a current applicant who hasn't utilized our labs and classrooms to the extent of a dental student, but I'll give you the benefit of doubt. Text tone can be misinterpreted. You're not as anonymous as you think you are on these forums.

There are no in-person tours at the moment, but I encourage you to take a look at our virtual tour and student testimonials. Campus is "open" but you will not have access to any buildings without a badge. Losing the classroom setting was a huge let-down because of COVID, but we are fortunate to still able to utilize our clinics and simulation lab. Our Campus

I'm sure everything changes as countless hours are spent in these facilities. By "nothing special," I just mean the classrooms and labs look to be on par in comparison with other dental schools I've been to and seen. I'm not knocking it or being disingenuous about it. I'll be honest and transparent with anyone who is looking for help.
