My AMCAS is not verified, but I just got a secondary app

"Please note that GW does not screen on the basis of the AMCAS application. We invite all applicants who submit an AMCAS application to GW to complete the secondary application and submit letters of recommendation so that we may review the entire file."

I also got the GW secondary and I'm not verified. Not a scam. Some schools send them as soon as they receive your contact info from AMCAS

Some schools such as Baylor and WashU, you can even submit the secondaries before AMCAS is first released to the schools. Others you may receive a secondary before verification. That being said, always a good idea to verify!

Starting last year, a decent amount of schools have decided to email out secondaries before primary application verification.
