First thank God and God alone that I have a residency spot for this year. Long and hard road but God does answer prayer in His time...which is always perfect. Congrats to those that matched and God's luck to those in the scramble.
I'm sure this list has been posted before but I couldn't find it in the search so I'm just going to ask again and pray yall don't stone me.

These are the books I'm about to purchase...is it something I should add?

1. Derek and Hacker's Geynecologic Oncology
2. Berk and Novak's Gynecology
3. TeLinde's Operative Gynecology
4. Clinical Gynecologic Endocrinology and Infertility
5. Creasy and REsnik's Maternal-Fetal Medicine: Principles and Practice
6. Williams Obstetrics
7. Gabbe Obstetrics: Normal and Problem Pregnancies

Just trying to spend all of my TR year stipend on essential books

I'm not sure I would purchase both Gabbe and Williams. Both cover similar topics. Just a different way of presenting the information.

I'd probably recommend the Johns Hopkins Residency Pocket Manual for Ob Gyn. Well written and easy to read and covers a lot of information to help you study.

Thanks. I was wondering if both Williams and Gabbe were needed...but my narotic side makes me want it. I'll just got Gabbe for now

You don't need both Williams and Gabbe's.

I only use Gabbe's because its easier to read.

Novak is good, but I use Comprehensive Gynecology... big green book.
I use Barakat for Gynecology Oncology... was recommended.
TeLinde operative gynecology --> never opened it. Learned on the table.
Leon Speroff Endocrine is good.

I didn't pick a book up for MFM as I wasnt planning on going into that subspecialty.
