While trying to register for October's test, the Pearson site told me my nearest center if full. Really??? For $150.00 pp, they can't hire another proctor or move to a larger classroom? Can't they at least have a wait list, knowing that some people will cancel after the arrival of their Aug scores. Of course not. Is this the same logic they use in writing their tests?

Sorry for venting online. I had to share my frustration with others who'd understand.

Happened to me. First I had seen that a city an hour away from me was on the list, but the August date there wasn't offered and I had to go 4 hours away. And then on the October date the close city filled up insanely fast (months, months before the actual deadline) and I had to go four hours away again. So... March 1 register essentially since it's a rat race to say the least.

I registered March 1st for my June PCAT too. Couldn't be TOO safe 🙄 Then again, my nearest testing center still takes about an hour to get to... so.. meh.

If it's any consolation, my friend had to drive 3 hours for her MCAT lol. You'd think they'd have more of those around too.

yeahh, it mess up my summer because the test centers are like 4 hours away from nyc in august. I wanted to take the exam at NYU, but it was all full in August; at least the october one isnt full. Because the august one was full I had to volunteer in a pharmacy, and study for the october pcat while volunteering.

I asked Pearon, via email, if they would move to a larger room or hire a 2nd proctor. As I expected, they didn't respond. I gave in and paid for the test session a few hours away from me. The one I wanted was over an hour away, but I was familiar with the location, which is one less thing to worry about on that Sat. morning.

Good luck!

after you register for Pcat, do you still have to call the test centers to make an appointment? this is so confusing bc pearson vue tell me to call the test center to schedule my test but The actual Pearson Pcat tell me not. so which one is it?
