I'm an RN with a BSN from Pitt. 3.89 GPA, only B's in nutrition and a stupid theory class. I am currently a charge nurse on a rehab unit, as well as in a Part time NP program (not going back after this semester). I have As in both of my graduate classes. I have a published review article, but I would continue working on research while I finished pre-reqs. I would be doing pre-reqs at a CC for purely monetary reasons, but I would ask the profs for help going above and beyond the CC coursework. (Spoke with the dean of admissions and an "admissions specialist" at Pitt, who said this would be fine as long as I had high enough MCAT scores.) I haven't taken the MCAT yet, obviously, but I tend to do well on standardized testing. I volunteer at Animal Friends. Do I have a chance at Pitt?

All that is left is the MCAT, but you already know that. The rest of your app is fine/great. Good luck.
