I got an interview from Washington State University. I'm still in disbelief. I have a gpa of 2.9, average pcat score, moreover I have not taken 3 pre-pharmacy courses required for this university. Two of them are science courses which I'm taking on upcoming spring semester. The other one is philosophy which I can't fit into my schedule. (I'm also a chemistry major)

I had 4 letters of recommendations and experience volunteering for a hospital for +100 hours and shadowing a pharmacist.

My question is that should I still worry about not getting accepted (due to my gpa and pcat) or all I need to do is do good on the interview and I'll be accepted?

Thank you.

Do good on your interview. If you get an interview, you're practically 60 - 70% there, they just want to see that you can communicate effectively. Your grades and PCAT obviously got you that interview, so make your interview a good one.
Also, take your pre-requisites and do well on them.

Thank you for your response. I had comp pcat score of 64% which I though makes it impossible for me to get into a pharmacy school.
I'm sure I can do great in the interview. What I fear is that, I get rejected even if the interview goes well.

The problem is you won't know about acceptance offer until you've done your best. After that, if they don't take you and if it's your top school of choice, ask them directly what you can do to improve your chance next time around if you'd like to try applying again. Good luck!!

I know wsu only ranks students based on their writing scores right now. Find a way to take ethics or logic and you should get in.
