  1. Pre-Medical
Hey, I've been pre-med my whole time at college but lately I've been thinking I don't want to do it. I've looked around and I think podiatry would be a good fit for me and I was just wondering what my chances were, here's my profile:
3.8 gpa, 3.88 in sciences
biology major from a top 15 public school
41 mcat
volunteering in a hospital, shadowing a doctor, some community service and leadership positions in college clubs

thanks

3.8 gpa with a 41 mcat, sorry it isnt good enough, I recommend you get a masters and redo the mcat.

well that's good news, I was thinking a needed a phd and two years in the peace corps to be competitive...

based on your stats alone, you should be qualified for the top medical programs across the nation and definitely the top colleges of podiatric medicine. If you are serious about this specialty/profession, I would highly recommend you to do your homework on the top schools and choose the one that can best prepare you for residency.

good luck👍

If you dont already know your chances based on those stats Im going to go out on a limb here say that medicine in general is not for you. Seriously though, if I got a 41 I would be telling everyone too. Good job. 👍
