My dentist had me write my own LOR but she's going to make changes to it and will ultimately send it in herself to AADSAS. Do I waive my right to read it or no? Please help!!!

Unfortunately this isn't too uncommon, especially for people that get asked to write a lot of recommendations. You should be able to write the best recommendation about yourself, so consider this a good thing. Obviously it would be super rare for her to change good things to bad things and then send it in. I don't think you need to read the final version unless she asks you.

You are overthinking things. She wouldn't have had you write it if she didn't want to help you. It will be fine.

At the end of the day, will dental schools really know if you read it or not?
