I am an athletic training student and planning on applying to USA in St.Augustine for DPT fall of 2012. I just wanted to see where i stand compared to those who got in and if I have a good chance of getting in. I have currently at 3.5 gpa and a 3.5 pre-req gpa. I have plenty of clinical hours from AT and am currently at a PT clinic for my rotation this semester. GRE score is about a 970 I think due to them not knowing how grading of new GRE is. My recommendations are very solid. I appreciate anyone that can help me or give me their thoughts.

I can't make heads or tails of your GRE situation but your GPA/prereq GPA should get you in to most schools. If the new GRE is scored differently and it turns out you did well then you've got a great application. If 970 is in fact your actual score on the old scale then you should probably retake it. Some schools draw a hard line at 1000; if you have any less than that then they will just take your money and not even look at the rest of your file. But it varies program to program.
