National Health Service Corps.

Does anyone participate in this or know of anyone that has or does? Any advice concerning this program would be helpful. It sounds like a real possibility, but it would be nice to hear from some who have more experience with the ins and outs of the program so to speak. I have researched the NHSC web page pretty extensively, but would just like to hear some input from anyone who has something to offer in addition to what is available there. Thanks.

edit: I thought you meant indian health services. Are these different things?

They are two different things, although there are IHS clinics where you can do your payback for a NHSC scholarship.

I haven't seen too much info here regarding NHSC scholarships for dental students. Are dental students competing for the same scholarships as med students?
