NBDE 1 for the third time?

Hi I am giving the NBDE part 1 for the third time .. I plan to give it in three months.. The first time i got a score of 80 and then got a score of 81 the second time with higher individual scores that to after studying a great deal..
I was very disappointed and I know i have to give it again.. So if anyone can give me some tips on what to do for the 3rd time.. id really appreciate it. Last time i did kaplan review, decks , first aid and q papers. did it all.. may be i was unlucky. Please let me know what else i need to be doing,do i do the same things again? or something else? any tips and advises are appreciated .. thanks a lot. Please respond soon..🙁

Hi there,

when and where are u writing the boards? I am retaking it in summer in boston area.haven't booked the date but in June. I got 80 last time.

I am planing to do decks, first aid thoroughly and review kaplan notes along with papers. I feel if i can go through all this thoroughly, knowing it in and out, it should work (Hopefully) I am working too- have to work to make some money- so dnt get much time studying, but definitly trying my best.

Feel positive (i knw easier said than done) but its just the phase of life and it will pass. Try once again with a sincere efforta dn hoepfully u will get through.

Hi dr37,Im working as well.. dental assistant. I havent scheduled my exam either. I am giving it in southern California.. Beach area. I just started studying today.. I get off work at 7 so it was kinda hard to get started.. but i did today with micro. I decided to do micro from the kaplan notes and first aid and decks. u are right doing the same thing thoroughly will surely increase our score. like u said a positive mind helps a lot. If u need to discuss anything that would be great.. I wanted to give it late may but im afraid i wont get enough time to finish ..so june is probably my plan too.besides gotta retake the toefl too!that lll do later. keep in touch.. thanks again.

Dnt worry abt the toefl, thts nothing as compared to nbde. A week after the nfe, write the toefl, but do book the date as soon as u get date for nbde as it might be hard to find avilable spots.
