I got my NBDE part 2 score & It was 81.
Should I need to retake NBDE part 2 or it is ok?
Please give ur suggestion, it is valuable for me to decide my future.

Wow, I would keep your score. Now, I have failed it twice and at least the second time I felt much more prepared and my score was lower. I've never failed anything before this, so this is out of character for me. I was also considering specializing and obviously that's not possible for me at this time.
I have recently seen scores that are much lower than yours and they felt much better prepared. If I was you, I would keep it because you never know, you may take it and then do worse. Good luck!

Hello everbody,
I took NBDE part 2 on 12 & 13 May. My first day exam was good but my second day exam was OK. On second day, OPG was horrible, in some case study I have Questions to detect dental caries from OPG but I couldn't see it in OPG.
Questions for patient Management were little bit tuft. If you have basic knowledge then you can do it.So dont worry guys & concentrate on study.
Prepration material : Dental Decks , Kaplan lecture note, First Aid, Mosbye, My final year books, Released board papers, Kaplan Q bank.

My second day score was 50 out of 100 question. I didn't recall my all subject's score. I will post later.

I hope you are well. I recently took part 2 on Jan 11-12 2010 and failed with a 73. Thank you so much for posting helpful advice on the exam because it is definitely a tough test. I studied Mosby's, decks and old exams for about 3.5weeks and was still unsuccessful. Such a stressful test....

I looked for the nbde tufts review online and the search displayed several documents. Do you have the tufts review in a pdf document or do you mind to direct me as to where I should go to obtain the document.

How important is Part II score if one is applying for specialty? Because I didn't do well, =(.

If I am scoring 60% in all subjects in ADA papers Would that be sufficient to clear the exam and in 80's. Any rough ideas ? Needs dorection on how much I need to work harder ? What % should be correct to score in 80's

I think you should score score in 80's to get a score in 80's.
One of my friend did solve the kaplan qbank n use to score in upper 80's n scored 81 in the real exam.
Hope this helps.

Buy newest decks, latest version is always better than older, however, I read older version and score good in part 2. So, latest will definitely help you more.

so i took part 2's early this month, just found out yesterday i didnt pass, got a 74!, anyway ive already taken wrebs, law and ethics exam, everything is ready to go, just needed to pass part 2's! my question is this, i know on the testing website they say you need to wait 90 days between re-examinations, however im certain ive heard of students being allowed to retake it much sooner than the 90 period. has anyone had this situation or know of anyone thats failed part 2's and been able to re-take it quickly? thanks.
