I WOULD SINCERELY APPRECIATE IF SOMEBODY COULD ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ASAP

answer of 1 st que is ethanol.ans of 3rd que is biosynthesis of fatty from glecerol.i m not 100% sure.

I THINK SUCROSE- LEVAN AS FRUCTOSE FORMS LEVAN..CHECK THAT OUT.

UMM..MAY BE NO.1

1.anemia
2.polycythemia
3pulmonary av shunt
4 hypovolemia due to hemorrhage

ANEMIA...CORRECT ME IF I M WRONG!

answer of 1st quei is glcerol 100%,because glecerol is large molecule.

Answer for question number one is sodium....the membrane is not permeable to sodium that is why they have specific channels to let sodium in and thats what causes the cell to become depolarized when sodium comes in....and Sucrose - levan is not a correct match up its suppose to be Fructose - levan

Fatty acid synthesis is from Acetyl Co A. with the additon of Co2 and the caroboxyl enzyme you get malonyl Co A. But in TCA they use Co2 in the begining of reaction as an extra Carbon and at the end of TCA they released it back.

sorry for replying a private msg to you.but i want to know you that answer is glecerol only.plz dont mind but i m sure.so get it correct for you.bye

answer is glcerol 1st one.then low po2 is in pulmo ar shunt.and co2 use in glcerol to fatty acid .

sorry i have to say that i conformed that i was right and answer is glcerol.its final.its not a thing of polarity but factors affecting membrane permeability and fist one is size.its most important.ok.

The major pathway is concerned with energy metabolism; in this process, the enzyme invertase splits sucrose into its component glucose and fructose molecules, which are then converted to lactic acid by the glycolytic pathway. Other enzymes, called glucosyltransferases, split sucrose but transfer the glucose moiety to a glucose polymer known as a glucan. S mutans forms several complex glucans that differ in their core linkage, amount of branching, and molecular weight. The first glucan identified had a core linkage consisting of an a1-6 bond that classified it as a dextran. Later, a unique glucan having an a1-3 core linkage was identified and given the name mutan. S mutans also has enzymes that split sucrose and transfer the fructose moiety to a fructose polymer known as a fructan.
bacteria cleave the sucrose in half to a glucose molecule and a fructose molecule, dextrans* (poly-glucose among which are starches and cellulose) while others make levans (poly-fructose). Is it sucrose-mutan?

Biosynthesis of fattyacids from glucose not from gylcerol?
Acetyl CoA carboxylase, the rate limiting enzyme of fattyacid biosynthesis requires biotin,ATP and CO2(carbondioxide) to convert acetyl CoA to malonyl CoA. CO2 is added to form malonyl CoA is never incorporated into fattyacid because it is removed by fattyacid synthase during addition of acetyl group to fattyacid.

glycerol 3-P combines with 3 fattyacid CoA to form triglycerides in adipose tissue and liver( let me know whether its biosynthesis of FA synthesis from glycerol or glucose?)

pyruvate carboxylase is a mitochondrial enzyme requires biotin,ATP and CO2.It is activated by acetyl CoA from beta oxidation of fatty acids. It converts pyruvate to OAA, a citric acid intermediate.

which of the the following conditions is oxygen partial preasure low inn the arterial blood
1.anemia
2.polycythemia
3pulmonary av shunt - ANS
4 hypovolemia due to hemorrhage

"hypoxic hypoxia" refers to the fact that hypoxia occurs as a consequence of low partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood.

Anemic hypoxia in which arterial oxygen pressure is normal, but total oxygen content of the blood is reduced.

Polycythemia is a condition in which there is a net increase in the total number of red blood cells in the body.

hypovolemia is a state of decreased blood volume; more specifically, decrease in volume of blood plasma.

Pulmonary shunts exist when there is normal perfusion to an alveolus, but ventilation fails to supply the perfused region. This will lead to a situation where the blood supply leaving a shunted area of the lung will have lower levels of oxygen and higher levels of carbon dioxide.

let me know if i'm right?
